Wow! Twitter is amazing!! I briefly looked at Twitter in the spring but I didn't find that it was very interesting since I was first looking at it as just a social site. I am a regular user of Facebook and Twitter seemed like a simplified version of Facebook. Boy was I wrong!
As an educator, you are always looking for resources to help you create better and more interactive lessons and be a better teacher in general. Well, Twitter can help you do that! If you select the 'right' people to follow, you can receive an amazing amount of helpful and interesting links and teaching ideas.
I feel that teachers need to step out of their comfort zone a little bit and really explore the Internet. It's time to utilize social sites like Twitter and share and learn from other teachers out there in the world.
Below you will find my five latest tweets.

Time!!
For any of you who have checked out my Blog in the last few weeks would see that there is very little here. I am SOOOOOOO sorry about that! My online course through Queen's University has had me pretty busy over the last two months. More busy than I thought I was going to be. I can't complain though since I am really enjoying the course.
This summer is going to be pretty busy too. I may be taking two more courses over the summer, going to a TI-Nspire workshop for two days in Ottawa and making a presentation at TLDSB's Summer Institute. Plus, I'm home with my two young children.
Very soon I am going to create a new posting that will include a list of amazing videos that both students and teachers should check out. I am also going to post some material on Cyberbullying and share with you the Cyberbullying survey results from my classes.
I will be back soon - I promise!
